Northwest Compensation & Rewards Forum (NCRF)

NCRF, located in the Seattle, Washington area, exists to promote the exchange of information, ideas, plans and policies in the field of total rewards trends and practices. NCRF also supports the education efforts and objectives of WorldatWork, the leading international association of compensation, benefits and total rewards professionals.

Angela Dunn started her career in Human Resources 7 years ago. She is currently the Total Rewards Analyst at Columbia Sportswear. Angela joined the Board of CWCG in 2018 and is currently the Programs & Certification Course Co-Chair.

Tamara Berndt | Senior Compensation Analyst, BECU; Special Projects and Surveys, NCRF
8 years of progressive compensation experience having worked in the retail, government, non-profit and financial industries. A background in both external consulting and internal support of compensation programs. Expertise in market pricing, salary structure design, sales incentive development and administration, data analytics and financial modeling. Skills in collaborating with business leaders and partners to create an effective balance of base pay and variable incentive plans to stay competitive with market leaders. Experience with confidently presenting proposals to senior-level management to influence decision making supported with data modeling showing past, present and future forecast. Continuously working to improve business acumen and comprehensive knowledge.

Ann Fosburgh, CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP | CEO, Compensation Works; President, NCRF
Ann Fosburgh at Compensation Works has over 20 years of experience in human resources management in entrepreneurial technology and financial services companies with a special focus on compensation, benefits, HRIS and accounting. She has proven success in designing and delivering customized business solutions by aligning reward strategies to business objectives. She has successfully led global payroll and HR systems implementations, design and development of incentive compensation plans, contract renewal for health benefits as well as company acquisitions and integration activities. She has worked to design and scale domestic and global companies in rapidly changing environments. Before co-founding Appian Resources and joining forces with Compensation Works, Ann was Senior Director of Compensation & Benefits at Providence Health & Services, Director of Global Total Rewards at Russell Investments, and Director of Human Resources at ComTek in Washington, D.C.

Matt Johnson, CCP | Compensation Consultant, The Standard; President, CWCG
Matt has 14 years of compensation experience at a variety of companies in the Portland area. He is currently a Compensation Consultant for The Standard Insurance Company, helping to manage incentive programs and support various groups' compensation needs. Matt is serving his second tour of duty on the CWCG board - he served from 2010 - 2013 as the Technology Chair.
